Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical design and analysis activities related to vibration, modal, fatigue, and thermal analysis.
- Conduct aerodynamic design and analysis, including 1D/2D aerodynamic evaluations.
- Support testing of components and engine modules at various lifecycle stages.
- Generate documentation capturing results from design, simulation, analysis, and testing.
- Develop and present engineering artifacts during design reviews.
- Interpret engineering drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Contribute to technical mentoring and knowledge capture.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
- 2 or more years of experience in design, simulation, analysis, or testing in turbomachinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with ANSYS software or equivalent.
- Advanced engineering degrees (e.g., ME in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering) are valued.
- Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects.
- Experience with CAD-based modeling tools (e.g., NX, Solidworks).
