Responsibilities
- Conduct aerodynamic design, analysis, and testing of turbine blades and vanes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project engineers on product improvements.
- Participate in continuous process improvement projects.
- Perform risk assessments and problem-solving with root cause analysis.
- Communicate technical results to customers.
- Support turbine hardware fabrication and engine testing.
- Engage in research programs focused on improving turbine aerodynamics technology.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in turbine aerodynamics or turbomachinery design.
- Advanced understanding of aerodynamic design and fluid dynamics.
- Knowledge of turbine aerodynamic CFD codes (e.g., Fine Turbo, StarCCM+).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to customer satisfaction and relationship building.
- Capability for 1D aerodynamic analysis.
