Responsibilities
- Perform thermodynamic cycle analysis of turbofan engines.
- Develop and maintain propulsion system performance models.
- Generate aircraft and engine performance data for various applications.
- Conduct runway and mission performance analyses.
- Support engine-airframe integration efforts.
- Author and execute flight test plans.
- Contribute to advanced combustion and fluid dynamics modeling efforts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics and aerodynamics.
- Experience with propulsion performance modeling.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering data sets.
- Master's degree preferred with focus on propulsion or aerothermodynamics.
- Experience supporting turbofan engine development programs is a plus.
