Responsibilities
- Perform thermodynamic cycle analysis of turbofan engines.
- Develop and maintain propulsion system performance models.
- Generate performance data for flight manuals and program assessments.
- Conduct runway and mission performance analyses.
- Support engine-airframe integration and performance methodologies.
- Author and execute flight test plans for propulsion evaluation.
- Contribute to advanced modeling efforts in combustion and fluid dynamics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics and aerodynamics.
- Experience with propulsion performance modeling.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering data sets.
- Preferred: Master’s degree and experience with turbofan engine development.
- Strong systems-level thinking and leadership in technical initiatives.
