Responsibilities
- Solve structural static and dynamic problems using hand calculations and finite element analysis.
- Define external loads from flight maneuvers and other conditions for structural design.
- Generate vehicle finite element models to assess load cases.
- Characterize aeroelastic effects such as flutter.
- Define random vibration environments from buffet and engine dynamics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in loads and dynamics analysis, preferably in aerospace.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience with simulation tools like NASTRAN.
- Proficiency in programming for data processing (Python preferred).
- Knowledge of supersonic/hypersonic flight regimes and related dynamics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.
