Responsibilities
- Provide design feedback to enhance manufacturability and integration of fluid and propulsion systems.
- Establish build roadmaps to align stakeholders and minimize build serialization.
- Develop and release build CONOPS, work instructions, and procedures for high-velocity execution.
- Lead first-article builds and resolve issues in real time.
- Own design and process trades to support scalable manufacturing.
- Drive make-vs-buy decisions and collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams.
- Support test readiness activities, ensuring technical issues are addressed quickly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware integration or manufacturing of fluid or propulsion systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace assembly best practices and precision fitting.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, CAD modeling, and first-principles design.
- Proven communication skills across design, manufacturing, and test organizations.
- Initiative and ownership in defining and implementing new processes.
- Willingness to be hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
