Responsibilities
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and support high-voltage systems for pulsed magnetic coils.
- Evaluate and apply solid-state switching devices with attention to performance metrics.
- Specify and integrate high energy components for system functionality.
- Design and integrate DC/DC, AC/DC, DC/AC converters for energy delivery and recovery.
- Develop switching-stage designs based on efficiency and fault behavior.
- Design low voltage control electronics and support PCB layout.
- Ensure measurement integrity in high EMI environments and partner with firmware/software teams.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics and complex electrical engineering problems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Demonstrated strength in high voltage systems, power electronics, or low voltage controls.
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability with lab equipment.
- Comfort in high-energy or electrically noisy environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, LTSpice, Simulink, Python, or MATLAB.
- Strong safety mindset and disciplined documentation practices.
