Responsibilities
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and support high-voltage systems for pulsed magnetic coils.
- Evaluate and apply solid-state switching devices with attention to performance metrics.
- Specify and integrate high energy components for energy delivery and recovery.
- Design and integrate DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC converters for energy distribution.
- Develop switching-stage designs based on efficiency and fault behavior.
- Design low voltage control electronics and PCBAs for high energy systems.
- Ensure measurement integrity in high EMI environments while collaborating with firmware/software teams.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics and electrical engineering problem-solving.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Demonstrated strength in at least one focus area of the role.
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability with lab equipment.
- Comfort in high-energy or electrically noisy environments with a strong safety mindset.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Suite, LTSpice, and Python.
- Strong documentation skills and disciplined work habits.
