Responsibilities
- Source electronic components and assemblies in collaboration with engineering and production.
- Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Lead bidding efforts and negotiate contract terms with vendors.
- Create purchase orders and resolve invoice and receiving issues.
- Maintain accurate ERP vendor and open order data.
- Lead initiatives and projects cross-functionally.
- Drive BOM cost reductions and secure vendor capacity to support schedule requirements.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in sourcing and supplier management.
- Proven track record of scaling supplier spend into the $100M+ range.
- Experience with complex electromechanical, pulsed-power, high-voltage, or semiconductor environments.
- Familiarity with capital equipment sourcing and advanced electronics.
- Strong understanding of supplier risk management and long lead-time mitigation.
- Experience supporting a global supply base and knowledge of export/control considerations.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-urgency startup culture.
