Responsibilities
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and support high voltage electrical power systems.
- Oversee the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of high-power electrical systems.
- Develop electrical system architecture and collaborate on schematics and installation drawings.
- Provide cost-effective and reliable design solutions through technical peer reviews.
- Collaborate with operators during machine commissioning and throughout the machine's lifetime.
- Manage cost, schedule, and resource estimates for design and delivery timelines.
- Utilize advanced electronic troubleshooting systems and standard benchtop tools.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics and complex electrical engineering problem-solving.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience in design, fabrication, installation, and testing of electrical systems.
- Strong background in solid state switching technologies and power electronic components.
- Proficient in engineering concepts, principles, codes, and project leadership experience.
- Advanced skills in electronic troubleshooting and standard engineering tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, LTSpice, SIMtrex/Simplis, Altium, and Matlab.
