Responsibilities
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and support operation of high voltage electrical power systems.
- Oversee design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of high-power electrical systems.
- Develop electrical system architecture and produce electrical schematics and installation drawings.
- Create cost-effective and reliable design solutions through technical peer reviews.
- Collaborate with operators during machine commissioning and throughout the machine's lifetime.
- Manage cost, schedule, and resource estimates for design, build, and delivery timelines.
- Utilize advanced electronic troubleshooting systems and standard benchtop tools.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering or high voltage pulsed power systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Experience in design, fabrication, installation, and testing of high voltage electronics.
- Strong background in solid-state switching technologies and power electronic components.
- Technical expertise in engineering concepts, principles, and project leadership.
- Proficient in troubleshooting systems using tools like oscilloscopes and PCB design software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, LTSpice, SIMtrex/Simplis, Altium, and Matlab.
