Responsibilities
- Own the integration of electrical components and subsystems into full systems.
- Define, maintain, and enforce system-level requirements and interface control documents (ICDs).
- Lead the design, documentation, and validation of electrical harnesses.
- Collaborate with and manage harness suppliers, delivering build packages and reviewing prototypes.
- Work hands-on in the lab during system bring-up and debugging integration issues.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure subsystem designs align with top-level system goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in integration processes and documentation practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical system integration, test, or design engineering.
- Strong background in electrical schematics, harness design, and interconnect systems.
- Proficiency with CAD/eCAD tools for harness and schematic design.
- Hands-on experience with system bring-up and troubleshooting using lab instrumentation.
- Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly.
- Strong documentation discipline and ability to manage supplier deliverables.
