Responsibilities
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and support high-voltage systems for pulsed magnetic coils.
- Evaluate and apply solid-state switching devices with attention to performance factors.
- Specify and integrate high energy components for system functionality.
- Design and scale DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC converters for energy delivery and recovery.
- Develop switching-stage designs for efficiency and fault behavior.
- Create low voltage control electronics and support PCB layout.
- Ensure measurement integrity in high EMI environments and partner with firmware/software teams.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics and electrical engineering problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Demonstrated strength in high voltage or power electronics.
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability with standard lab equipment.
- Comfortable in high-energy environments with a strong safety mindset.
- Experience with software tools like LTSpice, Simulink, Python, and/or MATLAB.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
