Responsibilities
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams across mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems
- Own the design and delivery of critical plant systems including radiation shielding and thermal management
- Partner with nuclear, magnet, and systems engineering teams for integration
- Drive cross-functional engineering execution from concept to deployment
- Set standards for technical rigor, documentation, and accountability
- Raise the standard for ownership, execution pace, and design clarity
- Mentor and develop the next generation of engineering leaders
Job Requirements
- A degree in engineering or physics
- 10+ years of multidisciplinary engineering experience, with 5+ in a leadership role
- Proven success in leading complex system design from concept to deployment
- Expertise in mechanical systems, heat transfer, vacuum systems, or process engineering
- Ability to build structure in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments
