Responsibilities
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams across mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems.
- Own the design and delivery of critical plant systems such as radiation shielding and thermal management.
- Collaborate with nuclear, magnet, and systems engineering teams to integrate fusion generators.
- Drive engineering execution from concept to detailed design, manufacturing, and testing.
- Set standards for rigor, documentation, and accountability to ensure safety and reliability.
- Raise the standard for ownership and execution pace within teams.
- Develop future engineering leaders through mentorship and example.
Job Requirements
- A degree in engineering or physics.
- 10+ years of multidisciplinary engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in leading complex system design from concept to deployment.
- Expertise in mechanical systems, heat transfer, vacuum systems, or process engineering.
- Ability to build structure in fast-moving environments while leading effective teams.
