Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable manufacturing processes for aircraft structures and subsystems.
- Develop and optimize workflows to improve build efficiency and quality.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks using root cause analysis.
- Design custom tooling and collaborate with vendors for equipment sourcing.
- Lead prototype builds and transition processes into production.
- Partner with Design Engineering for DFM/DFA feedback.
- Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of materials, GD&T, machining, and assembly techniques.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in design and production.
- Attention to detail and a passion for hands-on problem-solving.
- Experience in aerospace or electric propulsion manufacturing is a plus.
