Responsibilities
- Construct, test, and troubleshoot prototype and production loudspeakers and subassemblies.
- Report progress to Mechanical or Acoustic Systems Engineers.
- Support Systems Engineers in product development and sustaining engineering.
- Prepare for lab tours and presentations.
- Work on additional assigned projects.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
- Utilize SolidWorks and 3D printing in projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program (Sophomore year or later) or graduate/Ph.D. program.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields with relevant coursework.
- Knowledge of product applications for audio technology.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with leadership.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and 3D printing technology.
- Must provide own housing and transportation for the internship.
