Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to paperwork and customer quality requirements.
- Onboard new customers and align factory capabilities with their expectations.
- Assist in work prioritization during peak production periods.
- Address production defects and drive root cause problem solving.
- Lead the transition to high-volume manufacturing, implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with software engineering to onboard new automated production assets.
- Adapt shop floor processes for high-volume production needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 2 years of experience in production.
- Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in a high-intensity production environment.
- Familiarity with machining operations and tight tolerances in aerospace manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proven collaborative skills with cross-functional teams.
- Master’s degree and 5+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience are preferred.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, and various ERP/MRP systems.
