Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to quality and compliance requirements for precision-machined components.
- Onboard new customers and ensure CNC machining capabilities meet technical expectations.
- Assist in prioritizing work during peak production to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Solve production defects and drive improvements in yield and rework rates.
- Analyze machining yield data for cycle time and quality improvements.
- Lead the transition to high-volume manufacturing, implementing necessary changes in processes.
- Collaborate with CAM programmers to optimize machining programs and strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 4-5 years of experience in production.
- Extensive experience with 5-axis CNC machining in precision manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of machining strategies and process optimization.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience using data to drive machining process improvements.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Master’s degree or experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
