The Manufacturing Engineer - Factory Development is responsible for advancing manufacturing capabilities through project management, system building, and problem-solving, focusing on operational and technical challenges to support rapid production scaling.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of critical projects from inception to completion.
- Perform detailed root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
- Lead the development of systematic improvements within the factory.
- Redesign existing processes and introduce new processes and assets.
- Conduct thorough analysis and deploy effective solutions for operational challenges.
- Provide insights for longer-term technological advancements.
- Ensure project execution in a manufacturing setting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant STEM field, or 5 years of leadership experience in production.
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing role.
- Proven track record of project execution in manufacturing.
- Experience in developing and implementing production processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in solving technical or operations problems.
- Ability for occasional travel up to 35%.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
