Responsibilities
- Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analyses using internal software tools.
- Generate costing models and develop customer-facing proposals based on part technical information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement manufacturing solutions.
- Analyze industry data to inform automation technology and manufacturing market decisions.
- Monitor factory performance to optimize software for quality standards and process integrity.
- Evaluate designs using knowledge of materials and manufacturing terminology.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality production outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing role, preferably with impactful projects.
- Proficiency in GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with CAD tools for translating designs into manufacturable solutions.
- Experience developing production processes in fast-paced environments.
- Preferred experience with basic software programming (SQL, MATLAB, Python).
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools like CNC machines or lathes.
