Responsibilities
- Perform DFM analyses using internal software tools to optimize cost and quality for customer designs.
- Generate costing models and develop proposals based on part technical information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement software and manufacturing solutions.
- Analyze industry data to inform automation technology and manufacturing decisions.
- Monitor factory performance to optimize software and ensure quality standards.
- Evaluate designs using knowledge of materials and manufacturing terminology for high-quality production outcomes.
- Lead impactful projects in a manufacturing role, utilizing CAD tools to translate designs into manufacturable solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or 4+ years of manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing role with a preference for candidates with project leadership experience.
- Proficiency in GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with CAD tools for manufacturable solutions.
- Knowledge of production processes in high-growth environments.
- Preferred experience with basic software programming (SQL, MATLAB, Python) and hands-on manufacturing tools.
- Personal or project portfolio demonstrating manufacturing skills or involvement in related extracurriculars.
