Responsibilities
- Perform DFM analyses using internal software tools to ensure compatibility with factories and optimize cost and quality.
- Generate costing models and develop customer-facing proposals based on part technical information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement software and manufacturing solutions.
- Analyze industry data to inform automation technology and manufacturing decisions.
- Monitor factory performance to optimize software and ensure quality standards.
- Evaluate designs using knowledge of materials and manufacturing terminology for high-quality production outcomes.
- Develop and implement production processes and systems in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing role with a preference for candidates who have led impactful projects.
- Proficiency in GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with CAD tools to translate designs into manufacturable solutions.
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools and production processes.
- Preferred: Basic software programming skills (SQL, MATLAB, Python).
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools such as CNC machines or lathes.
