Responsibilities
- Own design-for-manufacturing analysis (DFM) and recommendations for high factory throughput and low rework.
- Own DFM engineering, profitability, adherence, and time-to-quote goals.
- Build a scalable cost estimation function aligned with business growth.
- Own bid analysis, pricing, and risk estimate recommendations.
- Generate and drive a new capabilities roadmap for materials and factory capabilities.
- Drive feedback loops with factory operations, sales, supply chain, and customer success teams.
- Build and manage a world-class technical team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years overall experience, including 5 years in leadership roles.
- 3 years of experience in precision parts manufacturing (e.g., CNC machining).
- Demonstrated experience in scaling DFM and estimation/quoting teams.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, maritime, and/or aviation environments.
