Responsibilities
- Own design-for-manufacturing analysis (DFM) and recommendations for high factory throughput and low rework.
- Manage DFM engineering, profitability, adherence, and time-to-quote goals.
- Build a cost estimation function that scales with business growth.
- Oversee bid analysis, pricing, and risk estimate recommendations.
- Generate and drive a new capabilities roadmap for materials and factory capabilities.
- Establish feedback loops with factory operations, sales, supply chain, and customer success teams.
- Lead and scale a technical team to support new capabilities and customer complexity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of overall experience, with 5 years in leadership roles.
- 3 years of experience in precision parts manufacturing, including CNC machining.
- Proven experience in scaling DFM and estimation/quoting teams.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Background in aerospace, defense, maritime, and/or aviation environments.
