Responsibilities
- Own design-for-manufacturing analysis (DFM) for customers to enhance factory throughput and reduce risks.
- Manage DFM engineering, profitability, and time-to-quote goals.
- Build a scalable cost estimation function aligned with business growth.
- Conduct bid analysis and provide pricing and risk estimate recommendations.
- Develop a roadmap for new capabilities, including materials and factory capacity.
- Foster feedback loops among factory operations, sales, and customer success teams.
- Lead and expand a technical team to support manufacturing capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of overall experience, with 5 years in a leadership role.
- 3 years of experience in precision parts manufacturing (e.g., CNC machining).
- Proven track record in scaling DFM and estimation teams.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or related environments.
