Responsibilities
- Drive and support the mechanical architecture, development, and analysis for new products.
- Responsible for design, analysis, documentation, and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical engineering evaluations and tests to validate new products.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Contribute to mechanical tooling and production part qualification.
- Use state-of-the-art CAD and analysis tools for mechanical designs.
- Navigate ambiguous situations and resource constraints to deliver results.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing consumer electronics products, preferably in handheld and mobile devices.
- Proficiency in NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Working knowledge of FEA tools such as ANSYS.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and statistical tolerance analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex mechanical development efforts.
