Responsibilities
- Drive and support mechanical architecture, development, and analysis for new products.
- Oversee design, analysis, documentation, and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical engineering evaluations and tests to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams for successful product development and launch.
- Contribute to mechanical tooling and production part qualification processes.
- Utilize CAD and analysis tools to develop high-volume mechanical and electromechanical designs.
- Navigate ambiguous situations and constraints to deliver results effectively.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in consumer electronics product development, especially in handheld and mobile devices.
- Proficient in CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks and FEA tools like ANSYS.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and statistical tolerance analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex mechanical development efforts.
- Enthusiasm for or experience in the motor sports industry is a plus.
