Responsibilities
- Drive the vision, planning, and architecture of future silicon generations for Google’s consumer electronic products.
- Align technical strategy with long-term commercial goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality and innovative chips to the market.
- Lead a globally distributed organization responsible for the research, design, verification, and implementation of silicon hardware.
- Oversee foundry execution and advanced packaging integration to ensure quality performance and reliability.
- Foster partnerships with functional leaders across product management, hardware engineering, and software engineering.
- Inspire and manage a team of 2,000+ engineers and technical program managers.
- Act as a key member of the Devices & Services Product Group leadership team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record in building state-of-the-art SoCs or ASICs.
- Exceptional communication and collaborative leadership skills.
- Technical expertise in the silicon development lifecycle.
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience shipping multiple custom silicon products from concept to production.
