The Thermal Manufacturing Engineer role involves working on core manufacturing processes and leading initiatives to improve production capacity and quality while managing product lifecycle and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Influence technical designs through Design for Excellence (DfX) activities.
  • Support initial process design and qualification for components or products.
  • Lead manufacturing initiatives to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Implement process controls and analyze manufacturing data for quality assurance.
  • Develop manufacturing test solutions and drive test coverage based on requirements.
  • Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage supplier audits and evaluate cycle time and line capacity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or a Master’s with relevant experience.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or related occupation.
  • Proficiency in core manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly.
  • Experience with statistical process control methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage products and revisions within a PLM framework.
  • Willingness to travel internationally over 10% annually.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with data-driven quality improvement.
