Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing engineering on product development teams, creating manufacturing strategies and implementing solutions for thermal assemblies.
- Serve as the technical representative to the Thermal Commodity Team, providing expertise in supplier selection and process optimization.
- Research, develop, and qualify advanced manufacturing solutions for future product requirements.
- Lead improvements in manufacturing and designs, identifying opportunities for quality, cost reduction, and repeatability.
- Provide support for manufacturing quality issues, applying lean tools and statistical analysis for process optimization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in process or product development in mechanical assemblies.
- 3 years of experience in thermal assemblies for electronic systems.
- Proficiency in Machining, Welding, Stamping, and other manufacturing processes.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing and process development.
- Preferred MS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of thermal transport mechanisms and experience with CAD and thermal analysis tools.
