Responsibilities
- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles.
- Define and execute data collection activities for technical issues.
- Drive process design and qualification activities for manufacturing processes.
- Own the supplier quality and reliability for SSD components from New Product Introduction (NPI) through end-of-life.
- Develop and implement advanced quality plans and process controls (e.g., FMEA, DOE, CPK) to mitigate risks.
- Conduct supplier factory certification audits and lead component qualifications.
- Manage NPI and sustain quality, ensuring lessons learned are communicated back to suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in quality, reliability, or product engineering.
- 4 years of experience in SSD manufacturing processes.
- Experience with hardware in industries such as servers, automotive, or aerospace.
- Experience with SSD technologies, including SSD test processes.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in a related engineering field.
- Preferred: 12 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or product engineering for hardware technology and systems.
