Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for mechanical components, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Conduct data analysis on manufacturing performance to identify trends, root causes of defects, and lead process improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical engineers, software developers) to ensure integration of mechanical and automation solutions.
- Perform business case evaluations for new manufacturing technologies and equipment investments, presenting recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards, and develop infrastructure improvements.
- Drive implementation of automation solutions in an industrial environment.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and generate innovative ideas for improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical process engineering and manufacturing automation.
- 5 years of experience with CAD software, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles and product quality management systems.
- Knowledge of robotics, control systems, industrial automation, and statistical analysis tools.
