Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional efforts to develop and implement a standard should-costing process.
- Own detailed cost modeling and "should-cost" estimates for hardware commodities.
- Conduct simulations to pressure test cost estimates provided by sourcing managers.
- Evaluate the organization's data ecosystem to identify key input gaps.
- Analyze how engineering changes, new technology introductions, materials, and processes impact the overall cost of hardware portfolio commodities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to plan requirements and manage project schedules.
- Communicate progress and deadlines clearly with cross-functional partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning.
- Experience in cost analysis and commodity sourcing for hardware.
- Preferred experience managing cross-functional projects in the consumer electronics supply chain.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with should cost software tools and market intelligence platforms.
