Responsibilities
- Apply design, engineering, and technical knowledge to influence cross-functionally and deliver reliable mass production components.
- Anticipate and address product design issues or risks, analyze data, and validate product design.
- Suggest or implement design improvements based on analysis.
- Manage the product design process and provide guidance to team members.
- Communicate progress and request feedback to prevent/remove roadblocks.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to define and deliver products.
- Work in a manufacturing and product-oriented development environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, product design, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience designing mechanical components.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.
- Experience in consumer product design and shipping multiple products.
- Knowledge of multiple manufacturing methods used in consumer products.
- Experience with system integration of electro-mechanical components.
- Preferred Master's degree in a relevant field.
