Responsibilities
- Apply design, engineering, and technical knowledge to influence cross-functionally and deliver reliable mass production components.
- Anticipate and address product design issues or risks, analyze data, and validate product design for improvements.
- Manage the product design process, provide guidance to team members, and communicate progress.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
- Work on product design that balances comfort, performance, and appearance.
- Support onsite factory collaboration for part manufacturing and final assembly.
- Engage in system integration of electro-mechanical components.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, product design, or related field.
- 3 years of experience designing mechanical components.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.
- Experience in consumer product design and shipping multiple products.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods used in consumer products.
- Experience in collaborating with suppliers globally.
- Understanding of system integration and product architecture.
