Responsibilities
- Apply design and engineering expertise for mass production using CFD tools and FEA to solve thermal and structural failures.
- Manage the product design lifecycle and cross-functional communication through PLM systems.
- Own the development of complex product systems or components.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple technical domains.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
- Anticipate and mitigate product design risks by analyzing data and validating designs.
- Collaborate with global manufacturing suppliers and support final product assembly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
- Experience in hardware subsystem design and validation.
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems integration.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and failure analysis of hardware components.
- Proficiency in technical data analysis and application of engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
