Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead for air-cooled cooling product designs.
- Collaborate with Operations, Execution, and Construction teams to develop new data center mechanical infrastructure products.
- Investigate and lead next-generation mechanical system products.
- Guide the insertion of new technologies by collaborating with core Engineering teams and external partners.
- Create system-level concepts and schematic designs.
- Carry designs through to detailed, constructable, and modular designs.
- Ensure functionality, speed to market, quality, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical products.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction.
- Experience in mechanical infrastructure.
- Preferred: Master's degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Revit.
- Experience in estimating and commissioning mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with modular construction or prefabrication.
