Responsibilities
- Develop and implement High, Medium, and Low Voltage system physical design using Air-Insulated Substations (AIS) and Gas-Insulated Substations (GIS) products.
- Develop and review power system studies, grounding calculations, current transformer sizing, voltage drop, etc.
- Ensure familiarity with IEC and ANSI/NEMA standards.
- Develop new electrical product solutions for Switchgear, Transformers, Energy Storage, and Micro Grids for mission-critical facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to drive implementation of infrastructure improvements.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives.
- Serve as an expert in electrical engineering specialties, focusing on compliance and efficiency improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction.
- Experience with electrical infrastructure and data center equipment.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering or relevant fields.
- Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Understanding of startup/commissioning processes for electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
