Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations of market-available multi-tenant facilities for acquisition, including technical due diligence and QA/QC.
- Manage power system issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with mission-critical facility requirements.
- Evaluate data center designs based on redundancy levels and collaborate on power loading for rack deployment.
- Interface with internal teams to deliver electrical solutions for third-party data center projects.
- Prepare various documents including facility review checklists, SOWs, and TCO analyses.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation.
- Ensure compliance with US electrical codes and standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in electrical distribution systems and mission-critical facilities.
- Experience with power system analysis and common engineering software.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Understanding of electrical codes and ability to maintain design specifications.
