Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and review data center monitoring and control system designs for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure successful delivery of vendor products and services according to Google's standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues with site operations teams.
- Implement and manage Operational Technology (OT) security protocols for industrial control systems.
- Create and manage scopes of work and update internal design specifications.
- Analyze trends related to power usage effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as an expert in specialty areas such as cooling and electrical compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
- 1 year of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction.
- Experience with industrial control platforms and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Preferred: Master's degree and Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Knowledge of electrical design, operation, and commissioning of various power systems.
- Experience with data center equipment and understanding of startup/commissioning processes.
- Strong communication skills to present recommendations to senior executives.
