Responsibilities
- Design and build automated systems with electromechanical components, including servo systems and sensors.
- Manage projects from requirements identification to production system release.
- Perform engineering tasks such as planning, designing, and building electro-mechanical products.
- Collaborate with users to design and iterate prototypes, testing for compliance with specifications.
- Investigate and resolve technical problems related to product performance in production equipment.
- Establish product performance through engineering calculations and use appropriate engineering tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and testing electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid systems.
- Proficiency with solid-modeling CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of robotics, automated systems, and industrial pneumatics is desirable.
- Ability to rapidly design and iterate prototypes and work with vendors.
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
