Responsibilities
- Design and iterate mechanical hardware for propulsion and missile defense systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers to define requirements and interfaces.
- Support the design, assembly, and testing of prototypes and robotic systems.
- Plan and execute mechanical and system-level testing for propulsion-related hardware.
- Create mechanical drawings and review manufacturability with vendors.
- Investigate failures and drive design improvements based on testing results.
- Support fabrication of flight and test hardware, maintaining drawing packages.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in designing and supporting manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD software.
- Experience in creating mechanical drawings and maintaining documentation.
- Hands-on ability with mechanical assembly and testing.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds.
- Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government security clearance.
