Responsibilities
- Develop and design high-efficiency power delivery architectures, including DC-DC converters and power distribution networks (PDNs).
- Ensure power supply designs meet performance, thermal, and cost targets.
- Perform detailed power simulations using tools like HyperLynx, Ansys, SPICE, PLECS, or MATLAB.
- Analyze power integrity (PI) and optimize designs for stability and minimal EMI.
- Select power components based on system requirements and performance goals.
- Build, test, and validate power delivery systems on prototypes using lab equipment.
- Create and maintain power design documentation, including guidelines and test protocols.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in power design or power systems engineering.
- Experience with PCB design and layout.
- Proficiency with simulation tools for power system modeling.
- Familiarity with lab equipment for validating power designs.
- Understanding of power integrity, EMI, and thermal management.
- Expertise in component selection for power systems.
