Responsibilities
- Directs and oversees engineering research, design, and development activities.
- Specifies new product functional requirements and evaluates design effectiveness.
- Designs and evaluates product specifications and process validation plans.
- Collaborates with manufacturing partners to optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Utilizes CAD/CAE systems for modeling new designs and producing engineering drawings.
- Develops project plans, monitors progress, and reports to leadership teams.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree and 10-12 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Management skills and experience fostering teamwork.
- Strong analytical thinking and detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering.
- Experience in a DoD environment and PMP certification preferred.
