Responsibilities
- Develop FEA models utilizing Abaqus and Ansys software packages.
- Perform calculations for loads, stresses, and material properties.
- Evaluate structural systems using perimetric analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to recommend design improvements.
- Conduct material research and assist in testing non-standard materials.
- Create technical reports, presentations, and analysis summaries.
- Present results to internal and external customers.
Job Requirements
- Completed a minimum of 2-3 years of Mechanical Engineering coursework.
- Working towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attentiveness and ability to follow directions.
- Physical ability to remain stationary at a desk/computer for extended periods.
- Minimal travel required.
