Responsibilities
- Conduct hardware design from requirements analysis through schematic capture.
- Manage layout constraints and support PWB layout.
- Oversee manufacturing processes and integration & testing of designs.
- Utilize advanced materials and packaging techniques in circuit card design.
- Collaborate with design teams on complex projects.
- Ensure compliance with Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC) standards.
- Communicate effectively to drive innovation and secure buy-in on concepts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of job-related experience or 6 years with a Master's degree.
- U.S. citizenship and Department of Defense Secret security clearance required.
- Expert understanding of hardware development processes.
- Experience with Mentor tools Suite for schematic entry and analysis.
- High-speed circuit card design experience, including embedded processors or FPGAs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead design teams.
