Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions requiring creative designs and detailed analysis.
- Design, analyze, draft, and test advanced space hardware.
- Create design specifications, CAD models, and technical drawings.
- Maintain integration plans, schedules, and milestones for design tasks.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback on design concepts.
- Coordinate procurement of components and materials for integration.
- Perform detailed tolerance stack up analysis and GD&T to ensure proper fit.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in engineering or related field with progressive experience.
- Strong experience with GD&T application and structural design for space vehicles.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and FEA software (ANSYS, NASTRAN, FEMAP).
- Prior experience in space domain and satellite segment design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with customer focus.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS-SCI security clearance.
