Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation and leadership during the design process.
- Oversee and guide the design review process, including formal design reviews.
- Promote initiatives related to design quality and reliability across the company.
- Represent the Chief Engineer’s Office in design practices and board activities.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations in design through industry representation.
- Offer technical mentoring and training to team members.
- Share lessons learned across design organizations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience.
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in a specific engineering discipline.
- Ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels.
