Responsibilities
- Design, assemble, test, and evaluate the performance of 3D printers.
- Participate in design reviews and help solve design, engineering, and manufacturing problems.
- Build prototype components and assemblies using in-house facilities.
- Utilize CAD skills to design parts and assemblies and create engineering drawings.
- Assist with communications to vendors and suppliers to address production challenges.
- Polish time management and communication skills to enhance effectiveness as an engineer.
- Contribute to the overall knowledge required to bring a product to market.
Job Requirements
- Desire to learn more about engineering design and product development.
- Experience with complex mechanical or electro-mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience such as lab research, project team participation, or prior internships.
- An up-to-date resume and a portfolio showcasing previous engineering work/projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with CAD software for designing parts and assemblies.
- Willingness to engage in real-world challenges in engineering and manufacturing.
