Responsibilities
- Create and release precision mechanical components and assemblies for new product architectures.
- Develop robust design solutions for complex mechanical interfaces and integration challenges.
- Own and continuously improve the mechanical design pipeline for efficiency and scalability.
- Maintain and update design templates, standards, and documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical, optical, and process engineers to gather requirements for manufacturable designs.
- Support inspection, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical components during prototyping and validation.
- Perform minor Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and optimize designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience or an advanced degree without experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, and MATLAB.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to brainstorming and feasibility studies for novel architectures.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance in design.
