Responsibilities
- Define reliability targets for systems and subsystems based on complexity and architecture maturity.
- Develop design validation test campaigns for different vehicle systems from concept to launch.
- Specify test resources and design accelerated test profiles.
- Analyze root causes of failures using forensic engineering tools.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional environment with diverse engineering backgrounds.
- Use connected vehicle platforms to inform hardware design through real-life usage data.
- Conduct DFMEA studies for various systems.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Material Science, applied Physics, or Chemistry with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of reliability engineering mathematics and accelerated life testing.
- Solid understanding of the physics of failure and familiarity with industry standards.
- Demonstrated track record in leading root cause analysis campaigns.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and manage complex engineering problems.
- Experience with data analysis tools, cloud computing, and data visualization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
