Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Develop and prototype concepts that improve product cost, mass, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and user experience.
- Drive cross-functional product architecture trades between vehicle subsystems.
- Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems through first principles and concept 3D.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build physical properties.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or related field, preferably in EV.
- Strong engineering fundamentals applicable to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent communication abilities.
- CAD proficiency in assembly and part design, FEA, and 2D drawings.
- Experience designing and releasing mechanical and electromechanical systems is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA).
