Responsibilities
- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts and technologies.
- Participate in NPI and design manufacturing processes within budget.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
- Define equipment maintenance requirements and develop maintenance skills.
- Analyze and design layout of equipment and workspace for efficiency.
- Write and update work instructions and other documentation.
- Collaborate with customers on product specifications and design changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Good communication and relational skills.
- Lean Six Sigma/DRM Green Belt preferred.
- Experience with vision-based inspection software (Cognex/Keyence).
- Knowledge of regulated industry documentation.
- Ability to run and explain simulations.
