Manufacturing Engineer

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at Flex, located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The engineer will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes while providing technical support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing systems.

• Support manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Scrap, and Downtime.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Work with NPI in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
• Assist in cycle time and process improvements.
• Develop and provide training to production personnel.
• Implement engineering change orders (ECOs) and statistical process analysis.

• B.S. in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical or Automation.
• 5 years of experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with NPI in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
