Responsibilities
- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and design manufacturing processes within schedule and budget.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
- Define equipment maintenance requirements and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Write and update work instructions and other documents.
- Analyze and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with customers to determine product specifications and design changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Good communication and relational skills.
- Ability to run and explain simulations.
- Experience with statistical methods for estimating manufacturing requirements.
- Ability to work independently and supervise others.
- Commitment to implementing initiatives and achieving objectives.
