Responsibilities
- Design electrical circuitry using Altium Designer.
- Develop and test novel sensing systems for inspection and obstacle detection.
- Develop and test battery management and charging circuitry.
- Create new test fixtures for assessing PCB and magnetics design performance.
- Update existing robot hardware designs, including multilayer rigid and flex PCBs.
- Collaborate with the firmware team to implement new sensing systems.
- Contribute to a meaningful environmental application in underwater robotics.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a related 4-year university program.
- Comfortable designing electronic circuits and using Altium Designer.
- Programming skills in C/C++ or Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Available for a 4-6 month internship or co-op.
