Responsibilities
- Produce well laid-out, organized, and referenced electrical schematics.
- Design power cabinets, select components, and size conductors for electrical panels.
- Program PLCs, CNCs, and industrial controllers to integrate various components into functional machinery.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to build and deliver machines.
- Lead code-compliant risk assessments and integrate safety throughout project stages.
- Manage project schedules and bid proposals as needed.
- Troubleshoot and debug industrial automation systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related subject.
- 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of servo systems, VFDs, Ethernet networks, and PLC programming.
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and initiative-taking abilities.
