Responsibilities
- Define engineering requirements and document specifications for COTS fluid components in collaboration with teams.
- Author and maintain qualification and acceptance test plans.
- Oversee in-house test campaigns and ensure accurate data collection.
- Interpret and document test data, communicating results to stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with vendors for project progression.
- Prepare qualification test reports and maintain critical documentation.
- Identify alternative sources for components to enhance supply chain resiliency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 0–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with test plan development and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with valve sizing calculations and fluid components preferred.
