Responsibilities
- Define vehicle-level architecture and capabilities aligned with Firefly objectives.
- Conduct system-level trades and influence configuration requirements for vehicle design.
- Analyze and optimize technical budgets for mass, delta V, power, and data.
- Chair design and milestone reviews to meet program standards.
- Develop innovative solutions for vehicle design and operations.
- Manage technical risk and reduce system vulnerabilities through investigations and corrective actions.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the mission lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years in spacecraft/subsystem development and operations.
- 5+ years in a leadership role within aerospace.
- Subject matter expertise in spacecraft or space systems.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and orbital mechanics.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
