Responsibilities
- Define vehicle-level architecture and capabilities aligning with Firefly objectives.
- Conduct system-level trades to drive innovation in vehicle design and functionality.
- Analyze mass, delta V, power, and data budgets for technical feasibility.
- Chair design and milestone reviews, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Develop innovative solutions for vehicle design and operations.
- Identify ways to standardize component selection and system designs.
- Manage program risks and provide real-time support during mission operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years in spacecraft/subsystem development and operations.
- 5+ years in a leadership role within aerospace.
- Subject matter expertise in spacecraft or space systems.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and orbital mechanics.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
