Responsibilities
- Support product development of new concepts and technologies for next generation wearable technology
- Create functional prototypes and develop test methods
- Design product components and systems for consumer electronics
- Contribute to technical specifications and product definition
- Design electromechanical systems for device testing and validation
- Develop and implement test methods for design validation
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team including electrical, firmware/software, audio, and optical engineers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in designing and shipping components for consumer electronics
- Strong engineering fundamentals in material science, heat transfer, statics, dynamics, and structural design
- Experience with production drawings to GD&T standard and tolerance analysis
- Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as injection molding and CNC machining
- Data analysis and visualization experience (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
- Proficient in Siemens NX and/or SolidWorks
