Responsibilities
- Work in an R&D environment, testing hardware and software prototypes.
- Evaluate new technologies and perform competitive product analysis.
- Assist with support issues and create detailed documentation for new products.
- Emphasize Extron's Architectural Connectivity solutions for wall and furniture applications.
- Document, test, and stage products for tradeshows and customer demonstrations.
- Help with installation, testing, and maintenance of meeting room AV and UC technology.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, sales, and marketing teams to guide products from conception to launch.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal fabrication and plastic forming.
- Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with lab bench testing tools and measuring devices.
- Experience with typical shop tools for installation tasks.
- Ability to lift loads up to 25 pounds and work at various heights.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
