Responsibilities
- Own the translation layer between AI algorithms and hardware specifications.
- Define strategies for model partitioning and mapping across compute fabrics.
- Maintain the canonical reference implementations in JAX and PyTorch.
- Project performance using cycle-accurate simulators before silicon design.
- Collaborate with the silicon team to ensure alignment of model execution and hardware capabilities.
- Address hardware-aware machine learning challenges.
- Contribute to the development of advanced AI applications in telecommunications.
Job Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Transformer architectures and their hardware implications.
- Experience in hardware-aware machine learning and performance modeling.
- Proficiency in JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, especially in compilation.
- Familiarity with SystemC and cycle-accurate simulation frameworks.
- Understanding of AI applications in telecommunications.
- Strong analytical skills for performance projection and optimization.
- Experience with complex-valued AI models and numerical stability challenges.
