Responsibilities
- Conduct materials analysis and test part characterization for new products.
- Develop and improve data collection processes for grinding and surface finishing projects.
- Analyze and document data from grinding and surface finishing process development.
- Organize and update existing documents and support data collection.
- Track and document ceramic materials related to grinding and surface finishing processes.
- Provide support for process improvements for next-generation products.
- Document and transfer processes related to ALD coating.
Job Requirements
- Experience with mechanical and microstructural analysis of ceramics is a plus.
- Familiarity with grinding and lapping processes and surface finishing technologies.
- Knowledge of data collection and analysis (Statistics, DOE) is a plus.
- Experience with SAP and Solid Works is a plus.
- Must be a currently enrolled student available to work 40 hours a week.
- Familiarity with university co-op program requirements.
