Product Development Intern

The Product Development Intern at Enovis will assist Product Development Engineers in the design and testing of orthopedic implants and instruments, gaining hands-on experience in the medical device field.

• Participate in the New Product Development Team.
• Assist in identifying surgeon requirements and product characteristics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Create product designs using 3-D modeling.
• Maintain documentation necessary for a Design History File (DHF).
• Attend surgeries for learning purposes.
• Conduct market research to devise solutions to orthopedic problems.

• Must have completed at least the first year of an engineering degree.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Interest in medical devices and orthopedics.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Project.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD packages (SolidWorks preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a typical warehouse environment.
