Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety and quality requirements.
- Perform supervised and self-directed functions in project development.
- Participate in improvement projects within the area.
- Plan, execute, and control activities related to projects.
- Operate additive manufacturing equipment (training provided).
- Provide technical support for established projects.
- Collaborate with departmental staff to identify and solve technical problems.
Job Requirements
- At least 50% of studies completed in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science preferred).
- Minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Required knowledge in manufacturing, process development, and engineering tools.
- Preferred experience with medical device product development or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing or additive manufacturing technology preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear a respirator.
